Dominic Sorrentino PA-C, AAAHP
President, Board Certified Regenerative & Antiaging Medicine
Dominic is currently active and board member of the American Academy of Anti-aging & American Academy of Anti-aging Health Practitioners (AAAHP). He is also an active member of American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of PA’s, and has published several medically related articles. He is a very active athlete, certified personal trainer, nutritional advisor, and competes regularly in fitness and bodybuilding competitions. His latest win came in Aug. 2007 where he placed 1st overall in Florida State Championships. He further enjoys outdoor activities including golfing, fishing and biking. After hurricane Katrina, Dominic, along with numerous volunteers, enjoyed heading medical and supportive relief efforts to devastated communities throughout coastal Mississippi. He calls this one of the "greatest experiences" of his life.
Dominic was born and raised in Buffalo NY. After graduating high school in 1989 he pursued his successful family restaurant business. He began competing locally in bodybuilding from 1989-1992 and won several local and state competitions. Becoming burned out of restaurant business, Dominic pursued a college degree and graduated with bachelors in biology from University at Buffalo and Daemen College in Amherst, N.Y. in 1997. Intrigued by medicine and wellness, Dominic pursued 4 yrs in Physician Assistant studies at Daemen and graduated with honors in 2000. He transferred down to Tampa and became licensed as a PA in Florida in 2001. Specialized in Emergency Medicine, he began working at several local Emergency rooms including: University Community hospitals, Tampa,Fl. from 2001-2003, Town and Country Hospital Tampa, Fl. 2004-current, and now at Manatee Memorial Hospital & Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, Fl.
His interest in aesthetic medicine began in 2005 and became certified in aesthetic medicine through the Aesthetic Enhancement Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. He began his career in aesthetics in 2005 by opening Affinity Medspa in Bradenton, Fl. Realizing that expansion was needed he relocated his successful business to Lakewood Ranch in July 2006. His current expansion plan includes addition of a complete anti-aging / wellness / aesthetic facility with effective approaches to living & feeling healthier.. longer.
